A player is on the verge of signing his fourth FA contract.

The Korea Volleyball Federation KOVO announced the list of free agents in the men’s V-League on the morning of the 5th. On the third day of the end of the men’s league, the list of FA players was disclosed, and clubs can negotiate with FA players for two weeks from April 5 to 6 p.m. on April 18. In case of transfer, presentation of protected players will be possible until 12 p.m. the day after the end of the FA negotiation period, and selection of compensated players will be completed by 6 p.m. on April 22.

The method of compensation is determined according to the FA rating system. Players who earn more than 250 million won 222,000 U.S. dollars a year are in Grade A. At Korean Air, which became the “champion” this season, veteran setter Han has earned his fourth FA status. Han is in Grade A, and is the fourth FA after 2013, 2018, and 2021. The most FA contracted players in the men’s team is Yeo Oh-hyun, who has signed FA contracts five times.

Other A-level players other than Han include OK Financial Group’s Cha Ji-hwan, Hyundai Capital’s Kim Myung-kwan, KEPCO’s Lee Simon, and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance’s Noh Jae-wook. Noh Jae-wook signed an FA contract once in 2019, and Kim Myung-kwan and Cha Ji-hwan are the first FA.

Grade B players include Korean Air’s Oh Eun-ryul, Woori Card’s Jung Sung-kyu, OK Financial Group’s Bu Yong-chan, Hyundai Capital’s Cha Young-seok, KEPCO’s Kim Kwang-guk, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance’s Shin Jang-ho, Son Tae-hoon, Son Hyun-jong, Jeon Jin-sun, KB Insurance’s Kim Hong-jung, Korean Min and Hong Sang-hyuk.
