‘Hyundai’ to face Ulsan Jeonbuk in ACL semifinals… Full lineup for Ulsan Jeonbuk

The Hyundai Street Derby between Ulsan HD and Jeonbuk Hyundai will take place at the bridgehead to the top of Asia. Both teams will bring their best with pride on the line.

Jeonbuk and Ulsan will meet in the first leg of their Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League (ACL) quarterfinal first leg at Jeonju World Cup Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday. Jeonbuk defeated the Pohang Steelers in the round of 16, while 카지노사이트 Ulsan defeated Banpore Kofu (Japan) to reach the quarterfinals.

Jeonbuk started Kim Jung-hoon, Kim Jin-soo, Park Jin-seob, Jung Tae-wook, Kim Tae-hwan, Meng Sung-woong, Lee Soo-bin, Moon Sun-min, Song Min-kyu, Lee Dong-joon, and Thiago. Kim Tae-hwan will be facing his hometown team for the first time since joining Jeonbuk from Ulsan ahead of the season.

Headed by Hong Myung-Bo, Ulsan will be led by Cho Hyun-Woo, Lee Myung-Jae, Kim Young-Kwon, Hwang Seok-Ho, Seol Young-Woo, Lee Kyu-Sung, Ko Seung-Beom, Kim Min-Hyuk, Kim Ji-Hyun, Lee Min-Kyu, and Uhm Won-Sang.

This quarterfinal match is not only about pride, but also about qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup. It’s a “war of the chuns” worth about 70 billion won. AFC has four tickets to the revamped Club World Cup in 2025. Al Hilal, Urawa and Reds Diamonds were recently confirmed as the two-time defending champions. They have two tickets left. Jeonbuk is favored to qualify based on their recent ACL results. “Jeonbuk can qualify for the 2025 Club World Cup by beating Ulsan and reaching the quarterfinals,” AFC said.

Ulsan also needs to beat Jeonbuk to have a chance. With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Al Nasr chasing Ulsan, they need to pick up more points and widen the gap to have a chance at the Club World Cup. Both teams will be motivated by the prospect of earning more than double the amount of money they spend on their squads in a year.
