Byung-Hoon An, tied for 10th place in PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational 2R

Byung-Hoon An tied for 10th place in the second round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational (total prize money of $20 million) on the PGA Tour.

Byung-Hoon An hit 3-under-par 69 with 4 birdies and 1 bogey in the second round of the second day of the tournament held at Bay Hill Golf and Lodge (par 72, 7,466 yards) in Orlando, Florida, USA on the 9th (Korean time).

Byeong-Hoon An, who recorded an intermediate total of 4 under par 140 strokes, finished the tournament in a tie for 10th place along with Justin Thomas (USA) and Viktor Hovland (Norway).

Byeong-Hoon An, who made a birdie putt over 7m in the 10th hole (par 4), increased his chances of being placed in the top tier of this tournament by catching a birdie with an eagle putt from a similar distance in the 16th hole (par 5).

Ahn Byeong-hun, the son of ‘Korean-Chinese table tennis stars‘ Jae-hyung Ahn and Zhimin Zhao, has not yet won a PGA Tour title, but has appeared in six tournaments this year and placed in the top 10 twice, including once as runner-up.

A mixed race unfolded in the leading ranks, with only six people tied for first place.

Hideki Matsuyama (Japan), Shane Lowry (Ireland), Scotty Scheffler, Russell Henry, Brian Harmon, and Wyndham Clark (USA) were tied for the lead with 7 under par 137 strokes.

Will Jarratoris (USA) ranked 7th, one stroke behind.Byung-Hoon An is also 3 strokes behind the leader and could compete for the championship depending on the results of the remaining 3rd and 4th rounds.

Seongjae Lim finished the second round with a score of 3 under par and 141 strokes, tied for 17th place.

Kim Si-woo is tied for 42nd with 1 over par, 145 strokes, and Kim Joo-hyung is tied for 54th with 3 over par, 147 strokes. 고스톱
