The Gator Rangers is a unit team created by acquaintances who usually play futsal in other teams to participate in this tournament. In consideration of Gatorade, the team name was set and even won the championship.

On the 16th, the Gator Rangers defeated Wonder Teacher 3-0 in the Siheung Regional Final of the 2023 Gatorade 5v5 Women’s Tournament, Korea’s best amateur women’s futsal competition at HM Futsal Park Siheung Branch.

The Gator Rangers won 1 million won in prize money along with the trophy. He also won a ticket to the national championship on November 4.

The Gator Rangers scored 32 goals and no runs until the final, winning the championship perfectly. The Gatorade Rangers, which scored 19 goals in three group matches, also advanced to the final with a victory in the finals. In particular, the Anyang women’s soccer team won 9-0 in the semifinals.

In the final, the Gator Rangers also beat FC Wonder Teacher 3-0 with Kim Hyun-sun’s hat trick, focusing on winning the championship flawlessly. With this goal, Kim Hyun-sun was honored with the MVP and top scorer (13 goals in total).

Starting with the Siheung preliminary round, the 2023 Gatorade 5v5 Women’s Competition will be held on the 23rd, followed by Seoul, Changwon (October 7), Cheonan, Busan (October 14), Jeonju, and Ulsan (October 28).
