Pritchard is a backup handler who opens up the offense, while Hauser is a specialist three-point shooter. Horford comes off the bench, but is practically a starter. Cornett also comes off the bench in short bursts to keep Porzingis healthy.

The strength of the lineup, the depth of the bench, and the leadership of second-year head coach Joe Mazzula shine through.

Boston’s goal, of course, is to win a championship. The Celtics last won the NBA Finals in 2007-2008, and it’s been 16 years since then. They’ve had plenty of chances, but none as good as this season.
