3 strokes off lead at LPGA Tour BMW Champions 3R
South Korea’s Ji-Ae Shin finished the third day of the BMW Ladies Championship on the Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour in a tie for seventh place.
Shin carded five birdies and no bogeys for a 5-under 67 in the third round of the tournament at the par-72 Seowon Hills Country Club in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, on Monday.
Her 9-under-par 207 total puts her in a tie for seventh place with Ataya Thititjerin (THA).
Shin was in the middle of the pack early on, tied for 24th in the first round and tied for 21st in the second, but her strong performance on the day propelled her up the leaderboard.
She is just three strokes behind co-leaders Lee Min-ji (AUS) and Ashley Buhai (SOU) and could make a dramatic run in the final round.
Meanwhile, Park Seo-jin and Lee Jung-six are tied for 11th. Shin Ji-Eun is tied for 17th, while Jeon In-Jin, Kim Hyo-Joo, and Park 바카라 Hee-Young are tied for 23rd.
Hae-ran Lee dropped 33 spots to a tie for 37th place after recording three birdies and eight bogeys on the day.
