The Muju Taekwondowon 2023 World Taekwondo Poomsae Open Challenge, organized by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) and co-hosted by the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation and the Korea Taekwondo Association, will kick off next month on November 3 at the Muju Taekwondowon T1 Stadium in Muju, Jeollabuk-do. The event is a WTF G4-rated international competition that will be held exclusively in the single sport of Poomsae and will be divided into a national and general (open) division for a total of three days.

The first place male and female finishers in the senior division will be invited to compete at the WTF Poomsae Championships 2024 in Hong Kong next October, while the second place finishers in the general (open) division will receive separate cash prizes .A total of 597 athletes are expected to compete in the event, including 55 athletes from 슬롯 11 countries in the national category and 542 athletes from 19 countries in the general category.
