Manchester United 18-year-old midfielder Mainu picks England A team

Midfielder Kobe Mainu, who plays for Manchester United in the English Premier League (EPL), joined the England A team at the young age of 18.

The English Football Association said on its official channel on the 19th that it had selected Mainu to the A team list in March.

The England national team will play friendly matches in March against Brazil on the 23rd and Belgium on the 26th.

In line with this, England coach Gareth Southgate announced a list of 25, and added Mainu.

Born in April 2005, the young midfielder hails from Manchester United Youth. He has been with the A team since the 2022-2023 season.

He made his professional debut through the League Cup Carabao Cup in January last year, and made his EPL debut in February when he replaced Marcell Javicher in the 35th minute of the second half against Leicester City 3-0 Manchester United win.

In the beginning of this season, he suffered ups and downs due to injuries, but since November last year, he has played 20 official games and scored two goals, establishing himself as a main rotation resource.

Mainu, who has been on the elite course through the England Under-17s U-17s, Under-19s U-19s and 21s U-21, is now about to make his A-team debut.

Young players such as Anthony Gordon Newcastle and Jared Branswaite Everton as well as Mainu were called to the A team for the first time. 안전놀이터 추천
