Ko finishes tied for sixth at LPGA Tour’s Scottish Women’s Open…wins Coglin

Jin Young Ko finished tied for sixth at the ISPS Handa Scottish Women’s Open ($2 million) on the Ladies Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour.

Ko shot a 1-under-par 71 with four birdies and three bogeys in the fourth round on the final day of the tournament at Dundonald Links (Par 72, 6,584 yards) in Ayrshire, Scotland, on Monday (local time).

The tournament was won by Lauren Coglin (USA) with a final total of 15-under 273.

It was Coglin’s second victory in three weeks after earning her first LPGA Tour victory at the Canadian Women’s Open in late July. She earned $300,000 for her victory.

Coghlin is the third player to win at least two LPGA Tour events this season, joining Nellie Korda (USA) with six and Hannah Green (AUS) with two.

Lydia Ko (NZL), who won the Paris Olympics, also topped the Hilton Grand Vacations Champions Tournament in January, but because the Olympics is not a Tour event, she is not yet on the list of Tour winners for the 2024 season.

Lydia Ko shot 5-under-par 283 at the event and is tied for ninth.

Paris Olympic silver medalist Esther Henselwright (GER) is tied for second at 11-under 277 in the Scottish Women’s Open.

In addition to Ko, Jin-hee Lim and Arim Kim finished tied for 18th at even-par 288 for South Korea.

The LPGA Tour will continue its schedule with the final major of the season, the AIG Women’s Open ($9 million purse), which begins on Sept. 22. 안전한 파워볼사이트
