Former soccer player in his 30s fled after a car accident in Gangnam… Did you see the scene?
A former soccer player was caught by police after fleeing after causing a car accident in Gangnam, Seoul.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating a former soccer player, Lee Im (35), for fleeing after causing a traffic accident.
Lee is suspected of driving a car in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 6:06 a.m. on Dec. 12, hitting a street tree and a transformer on the sidewalk and fleeing the scene (failure to act after an accident under the Road Traffic Act).
In the video footage released by YTN of the accident, a black car appears from the right side of the sidewalk and quickly rushes onto the opposite sidewalk.
The car hits the sidewalk at a terrifying speed, staggers like a drunken man, and crashes into a transformer, which is pushed back and shattered, and then the car spins around once on the road before fleeing.
Mr. Lee fled without taking any action after causing the accident, but the police chased him down and made an emergency arrest at his home.
He refused to take a breathalyzer test at the scene, but later agreed to have his blood drawn to measure his blood alcohol content.
He later tested positive on a breathalyzer test, but reportedly denied being under the influence. The police took the blood for testing by the National Institute of Forensic Science.
Lee made his professional debut in 2010 when he joined Gangwon FC and has since played in the National League, Germany, Japan and the Malaysia League. 파워볼사이트
